Research

Cardiac Metrics is leading several innovative research programs to advance mobile health monitoring to detect and predict critical cardiac events including heart ischemia (heart attack), myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, Atrial fibrillation, Ventricular fibrillation, and congestive heart failure. Our research and development focuses on parameters monitoring that enable and improve clinical diagnosis, including:

1-Cardiac Hemodynamics Monitoring: monitoring of critical cardiac performance parameters and hemodynamics to assess cardiac function and health, post clinical intervention for patient follow up, including: cardiac ventricular volumes. pressures, cardiac output, ejection fraction, and contractility.

2- Heart Circulatory Blood Flow Balance Monitoring: monitoring of blood flow balance for both the systemic circulation with blood flow to/from the body, and pulmonary circulation with blood flow to/from the lungs.

3- Central Venous Oximetry Monitoring: monitoring of central venous oxygen saturation in addition to arterial oxygen saturation for clinical diagnosis of oxygen supply and demand.
